IREA – URBA 2000 - ECO ORIGIN MOU in agreement with the UNIVERSITY OF RENNES
The IREA (Institute of Applied Research) is a private training institution that relies on a network of partners such as chambers of commerce, art schools, companies to support students, especially for internships. The courses are open to international management, business management, foreign languages, art and culture.
Urba 2000 is a non profit organisation dedicated to technical, social and political innovation in the fields of planning, sustainable mobility and transport and the functioning of cities and territories. URBA 2000 assists public clients in France and abroad.
ECOORIGIN is a non profit organisation organized around a network of actors (companies, local authorities, economic partners) who have chosen to pool their know-how and their means to accelerate the development of the green economy in Brittany. Ecoorigin is involved in training and research.
IREA has signed a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the UNIVERSITY OF JINGDEZHEN, to promote student exchanges and cooperation between teachers from French Universities and the UNIVERSITY OF JINGDEZHEN.
IREA wishes, for the implementation of this MOU, to establish a long-term relationship with URBA 2000 and ECO ORIGIN, in agreement with the UNIVERSITY OF RENNES, so as to form a multidisciplinary team that can supervise student upgrading coming from the UNIVERSITY OF JINGDEZHEN, and then to follow courses at UNIVERSITY OF RENNES. Inversely, the students of the Universities of Rennes and Brittany will discover the Chinese teaching in Jingdezhen.
The fisrt visit to Rennes of the students of Jingdezhen is the first step to create this links. IREA will ensure the establishment of a training with teachers selected by ECOORIGIN and URBA 2000 as part of their cooperation. This training will use the "Sustainable Learning" system created by URBA 2000.

THNS 2018
The THNS Forum was created in 2007 under the Intergovermental Agreement signed between French and Chinese Ministers on Sustainable Urban Dévelopment. It aims to develop year after year an academic cooperation with discussions of good practice on intelligent transport, protection of environment through urban planning and reduction of pollution.

IREA is an institution of higher education. This associative structure is situated in Luchon, in Pyrenees massif (department of Haute-Garonne). It was founded by GAPME (Global Alliance PME). It relies on a network of partners such as chambers of commerce, art schools, companies to support students, especially for internships. The courses are open to international management, business management, foreign languages, art and culture.
Blended learning
The blended learning combines eLearning and the traditional learning mode often called "face-to-face". In general, the learner will alternate between online distance sessions and face-to-face sessions with the teacher (s). A debriefing session is often also added at the end of the training. It allows to check the achievements of the student but also to collect the evaluation of the training sessions to improve the content during the following sessions.

A sustainable city is one that respects sustainable development priorities from their social, economic and environmental perspective, and that allows its inhabitants to live in good conditions and in harmony with their surrounding nature.
Nowadays half of humanity – 3.5 billion people – live in cities. By 2030, almost 60% of the world’s population will live in urban areas. In the next few decades 95% of this urban expansion will take place in the developing world. 828 million people live in slums today, with this figure constantly increasing. The world’s cities occupy just 3% of the earth’s land, but account for 60-80% of its energy consumption and for more than 70% of its carbon emissions.
